Week of Prayer
Mon 2nd - Fri 6th April 2012
We are having a week of prayer from the 2nd to the 6th April during which time we really want to seek God for the way ahead for us as we have just celebrated our 20th Anniversary. We especially need to seek His will for the way forward on the Church Centre. The Church Council has taken the decision that we would like another Church Centre but we need to pray as to what form and where and what the needs are. Please join us during the week to see what God has to say to us.
See the bottom of the page to book a time in the prayer room.
Pause for just an hour, take time to
Rest in God's presence
Adjust your focus and look into His face.
You on your own or join with others
Enjoy the various resources to
Refresh your prayer life and
Refocus on Almighty God
Open doors into His throne room for
Others and ourselves so
Make an appointment, meet God and move mountains.
Each year we hold two week's of prayer. One we hold around Easter and the other in the autumn.
On each of our week's (and indeed our monthly day's of prayer) have a number of focii to allow us to pray together for needs individually, within the church and within our communities and world and to bring us into the presence of God.
We find these weeks amazing times when many meet with God. There is a sign-up sheet in Church and held at the office so that we know that each hour is covered in prayer. Some people love coming and using the prayer room on their own, others enjoy having others to pray with them - the important point is to pray!
We do ask all leaders in the Church to make this week a top priority. There is a lot that we need to pray for - we need God to hear from God as well as bring people and situations to Him.
Do please sign up and come along to join in the prayers of others in the church.
You can sign up online at the 24/7 prayer page that we have created, just click on the link below and it will open a new page where you can click on the time that you would like to book. Enter your details (including either email address or phone number) and hit save:
