Connect

There is always a lot going on at Springfield and we hope that these pages will help you connect with what is going on at Springfield for both in our Wallington and Roundshaw congregations.

At the core of the life of Springfield is our small group system. We call these small groups cell groups. Cell groups are our midweek small groups that are fundamental in helping our congregation, and new members build relationships with each other, our church and God. They are life-giving, nourishing small groups that exist to challenge, support and encourage one another to live out the values we believe in as a church.

Because we want cell groups to be outwardly focussed we encourage our cell groups to put on regular events and invite friends, family and neighbours to them. These are fun events that can vary from a walk to a pimms and planters evening; from a quiz to a wine tasting evening. Do keep an eye out on our cell events page for upcoming events.

As part of our commitment to building community we also have a series of larger scale events through the year. In the past we have taken over screens in the local cinema, run large-scale fun days as well as bonfire night parties, light parties etc.

Then there is the day to day events that occur in the church. You will find out what is going on in our diary section which is regularly updated.

Here you can catch up with any sermons, cell notes, magazines or notices that you’ve missed out on!
